Non stop September Surf

September often sees the start of the hurricanes tracking across the Atlantic and with them comes surf. The water is at its warmest of the year about now so its a perfect combination. I've been surfing and swimming multiple times a day over the past month and at last been doing some travelling for waves. Charles and I have been on the road managing to find empty waves every time we go. The water has become a major attraction over the past 18 months for lots of people and we are seeing surfers, dippers, paddle boarders etc in numbers never seen before.


Below is a frame grab from Charles' drone recently whilst we were at a nice little deserted right hander.


The days are shortening and nights getting longer. A few weeks left of early and late water time before the darkness comes back. Soak it up while you can and build up the reserves for the winter ahead!
