Practical Personal Safety for Women

Build awareness. Increase confidence. Stay safer.

Practical Personal Safety for Women

Most women have experienced moments that make them feel vulnerable—walking to their car after dark, travelling alone, using public spaces, or simply wondering if someone is paying too much attention to them.

This training is designed to help you feel safer, more aware and more confident in everyday life.

It isn't about turning you into a fighter.

It's about recognising potential danger earlier, making better decisions under pressure, and knowing what to do if a situation begins to develop.

What You'll Learn

Every session is practical, straightforward and based on real-world situations rather than sporting techniques or competition.

Topics include:

• Developing greater situational awareness.

• Recognising potential danger before it develops.

• Walking with confidence and purpose.

• Staying calm under pressure.

• Personal safety when travelling alone.

• Safer parking habits and vehicle awareness.

• Protecting yourself in and around your vehicle.

• Creating time and space to escape dangerous situations.

• Simple methods of avoiding confrontation.

• Practical escape techniques when avoidance is no longer possible.

• Physical self-protection as a last resort.

The Philosophy

The best form of self-defence is recognising danger before it becomes violence.

Most difficult situations can be avoided through awareness, preparation and good decision-making.

When avoidance isn't possible, having a simple plan and practical skills can make all the difference.

The aim isn't to create fighters.

The aim is to help ordinary women feel more confident in everyday life.
