This is at Castlerock Northern Ireland today.
I wasnt expecting much today on the north coast. The swell was going to hit the west coast and Europe much more than up here so I didnt really expect to get much size.
I sat up all night watching the wave buoys though and I changed my mind. I was ready at dawn to surf.
When I first paddled out I was in for around an hour until I got caught by a decent sized set and broke the tail off my board. I swam all the way to shore and changed the board and went back out.
Some decent waves today on the north coast!
